Nova Formworks - Steel Formwork Suppliers and Manufacturers

Formworks are moulds that can contain concrete while it is still in its plastic state. In general, the setting time of concrete is between 24 to 48 hours, but it takes around 28 days to gain full strength. During this time period, it is important that proper support and shape is provided to the mix. While formworks were originally made from timber, steel formworks are fast gaining popularity as a cost-effective alternative.

Nova Formworks

Since 2004, Wonder Moldplast Pvt. Ltd. has established itself as a leading manufacturer, trader and exporter of plastic products. Since then, they have expanded beyond these horizons to manufacture high-quality plastic formworks as Nova Formworks. They have also pioneered different types of Aluminium and plastic combined formworks that are largely used in the construction industry to construct beams, columns and slabs.

Steel formworks contain thin panels manufactured from steel plates held in place by angle sections. Not only can they be manufactured in a large number of modules, but they can also be reused indefinitely. A steel formwork makes it easier to work with curved sections. They can carry the load of heavy concrete work and can be manufactured in uniform sizes. Similarly, plastic and aluminium are also used as formwork material. The advantages include cost reduction and labour-friendly material.

Metal and Plastic Formworks

The available products by Nova Formworks are of the following three categories:

NOVA ALPLAS - This formwork contains 60-65% plastic and 35-40% Aluminium. It is an exclusive product that is mainly used for monolithic construction. The modular production takes less delivery time and allows easier installation on site.

NOVA ALUFORM - This contains a range of Aluminium formworks. These are used in projects where full Aluminium formwork is required. This is the newest addition to the variety of formworks available and has seen great demand since its inception.

NOVA PLASFORM - These are plastic formworks with GI supported stiffeners attached to the back panels. The panels are lightweight, strong and have a unique inter-locking system. These panels can be reused and are the most popular among all Nova products.

Benefits of Using Nova Formworks

The unique blend of the formworks makes them lightweight, but also impact and wear-resistant.

The formworks can be used over 100 times. After use, they can be fully recycled.

The formwork surface is smooth. Hence, it does not leave any print or indentation in the concrete.

These formworks have been used in various projects to construct monolithic structures, stitch concrete, construct culverts, for low-cost housing projects, and many more.
